My kitten loves these, and they're really quite durable. She loves to bat them around the house, and she gets to blow off some energy. They're really light, so they fly through the air with the slightest tap. She will also pick it up in her mouth, and cuddle with it. I've pulled them out of the water bowl as well, and they dry off quickly, no harm done. When she finally does manage to destroy them, I'll definitely buy some more.

I have a 5 year old cat who had hip (FHO) surgery before we adopted her. We were told that due to her hip issues it is especially important to keep her as active as possible and not let her weight get too high. She is an indoor cat and it is very hard to engage her in play, so exercise can be problematic. We have tried literally every type of cat toy. These bouncy soccer balls are the ONLY toy that she really likes to play with! They will even bounce on carpet, but they bounce especially well off of hard floors and walls. We will bounce them a few times to get her attention and she can't help but pounce after a while. Once she gets one, she will bat it around and chase it around the house for a good 5-10 minutes. Sometimes she will find one under something and start playing with it independently or try to engage our other cat in play. I know that doesn't sound like a big deal, but for a cat with hip issues who generally won't play, that's pretty fantastic! I think over time, the added play seems to be making her more agile and loosening up her stiff hip joints. We will continue to stockpile these, as they've proven to be a great physical therapy tool. Even if you have a "normal" cat, give them a try-our other cat loves to watch them bounce and chase them around, too!

Some balls are just too "scary" for my scardy cats but these are just perfect. The bounce and are very lightweight. They might tear if you have aggressive kitties, but mine have been holding up well.

Bought my cat these and the golf-ball looking sponge balls. The golf ball sponge is really well-made, these not so much. The black spots of the soccer balls are poorly applied and the sponge is poor quality...one cat kick or bite and these will fall apart. I took the rest of them away from her. She loves her golf balls and they have lasted through all her antics with no show of wear and tear. Spend the money and get the other ones!

I've spent many times as much on all sorts of cat toys, but this is the all-time favorite. Quality is fine -no reason they shouldn't last until lost. If I participate, she'll play with them until one of us is worn out. Her favorite trick is to jump on my shoulders while I'm working on my desk, drop the ball in my shirt pocket, and then retrieve and repeat after I've thrown it. I wish I could take credit for teaching her this, but it was her idea!
