Purchased this for flight with my 6.5 lb pomeranian. Airline under the seat restrictions limited height of carrier to 8.5 inches. The design of this carrier enabled the bag to flex without collapsing on my pup. I also appreciated the egg carton pad which I imagine was very comfortable. The shoulder strap was very comfortable, even a 7lb dog can get heavy after lugging her through an airline terminal!
Its ok. Not as sturdy as I need. Its also a lot smaller inside than it looks--because of the board that goes on the bottom.
