These are just collapsible plastic bowls, not the flexible silicone so common in kitchenware now. Time will tell how they hold up to regular use, but the relatively rigid plastic seems brittle and likely to wear and break. And, as another reviewer points out, the lids don't fit well.
The bowls themselves are great, store in a small place & work well when opened. However, the lid is not secure so you can not really use it to carry or store food or water. I don't know the point of the lid when it works this poorly. The lid should either be re-designed to hold securely (not just as a dust cover, as it is now) or get rid of the lid & reduce the price.
