Within the first few minutes of playing, one of my bengals already ripped a decorative colored feather out; I couldn't replace it but it didn't hurt the product much. Within another 30 minutes (these cats didn't get tired), they ripped out a guinea feather which I was able to stick back in. Fast forward 5 days later, the bird was already ratty and beat up that is how much my cats played and played with it.
I hated the wand. I had several fiberglass splinters in my hand the first day of playing that were so difficult to remove. When playing with the wand later, I used a leather glove to hold it. One reviewer recommended duct tape but I didn't want to touch it with bare hands again and duct taping with gloves is difficult. The pull-apartness of the wand is ok. It's good for storing but sometimes it comes apart when playing with the cats. One of the cats eventually bit through the string.
The "Super"-ness of the attachment lived up to its name. As of date (which I might update later), I haven't used the regular "Da Bird" attachment yet. I started with this and I loved it, the cats loved it more. It flutters like a real bird.
After two weeks, the toy was kaput. I put other feathers in them but it didn't fly as well and they came out easily. It didn't matter. The cats would even jump after the red attachment that holds the feathers. Talk about classic conditioning!
Pros: I can imagine most cats will love this. It seems to rouse their instincts.
Cons: Fibre glass rod leaves splinters. Our cats love it. Purchased 2nd one for daughters cat. He loves it too.
Hope the accessories are always available, as I'm sure we will be going thru them as time goes by.

My cats love this toy with its real feathers and bird-like movement. This toy is constructed so that is spins and moves like a bird might. Cats go crazy for this! My cats cry at the closet where it is kept. I would get a replacement feather if you have a cat with claws and a strong prey drive. Make sure to keep it in a safe spot when not in use.Read Best Reviews of New Super Da Bird with Pull-Apart Rod - Interactive Feather Cat Toy Here
My Persian brothers Andy and Dougy thing the old Da Bitrd is wonderful, but the New Super Da Bird caught their little felinee attention before I could remove the plastic the toy came in. (Dougy clawed my leg trying to take it out of my hands, so I guess that's cat for "hot toy, gimme!" The new version looks (to me) pretty much like the old version, but it feels lighter, easier to control than the old. Regardless, the cats will enjoy this toy even more than the old, and they really loved the old version!Want New Super Da Bird with Pull-Apart Rod - Interactive Feather Cat Toy Discount?
We have daily "interactive play sessions" with our cat, and Da Bird is by far her favorite toy. It's stood up well to her vice-like jaws, and the fluttering motion really makes her go crazy! The only thing I don't like about this product is the handle. I'm not sure what the benefit of a pull-apart handle is if the handle never stays together. I'm going to try and modify the handle so it's more like the Neko Fly.
