**edit Oct 2012**
Just wanted to post that miracle of miracles, we still have this toy over two years later. The fur is wearing off, but they still haven't destroyed this or the rubber kong! This is still hands down the best toy we have bought for our dogs.
6/2013: This toy is miraculously still alive. Highly recommend! The first time Gracie (3 yr Lab) played with her new "Foxie" she immediately ate one of the ears! We figured she would eat the other ear, and then slowly destroy the rest of the toy. Surprisingly, though, Gracie has NOT eaten the other ear, nor destroyed it in any other way! It's one of her favorite playthings, and often entertains herself with the floppy tails and the silly squeak. We find that only the KONG toys hold up with heavy chewers and will buy nothing else for her.

I have a tough chewer. We are talking, TOUGH. He can eat through walls, furniture, and toys in a manner of seconds. Plush toys he is particularly rough on since he tends to pull all the fur off then rip it to shreds. Not his Wubba Plush Friend. I bought this a month ago and it still looks brand new besides some matted fur. All the little legs are still on, and even the ears/eyes/nose are intact. The squeak is very loud and sometimes by dog will howl along with it, but that doesn't bother me since as long as I hear it squeaking away I know he isn't chewing something else haha. This toy is a keeper! All the Kong products have been great!6/2013: This toy is miraculously still alive. Highly recommend!

This toy is great my cattle dog highly approves of them and loves the fox (looks like him) and the bunny. Yes, if I left it with him, he'd "kill" it in a few minutes tops. That said, toys like this aren't really meant to give to your dog like a stuffed Kong. My dog has destroyed all of the toys rated 10/10 for durability, so we've learned to play and then put certain toys away so they last longer. The ball has a great LOUD squeak to it and is good for using with recall training or for agility you can tug with your dog as a reward when they come. My favorite agility toy so far! So, to summarize if you leave your medium to large dog unsupervised with the toy, it will be destroyed. It's unrealistic to expect a toy to be indestructible. Have fun with it instead.Want KONG Wubba Friend Dog Toy,(Assorted, you get 1 of the item) Discount?
I have two ibizan hounds (huge scissor bites) and a greyhound (who came to me after chewing through a wall in her first home)......i received a recommendation for these from another greyhound rescue pal of mine because they survived her hounds. My boy beezer did tear the stuffing out a little from the head, but OMG both this and the nylon version have survived! I got a nylon one a month ago locally to test them out....i am going to get the other animal ones too! Also, ALL three dogs love them--they take turns whipping them around and squeaking them--it is rare that all three like one toy. Thank goodness for KONG--they have excellent R and D. I don't know why my dogs haven't tried to rip the legs off but it hasn't occured to them......so the design is really clever ;)
