It took about an hour for my cats to destroy these completely, leaving a lovely pile of shredded straw on the carpet. Next time I'm just going to give them a wadded-up $5 bill laced with catnip.

If your cats are anything like mine, they'll love these. For the 30 minutes it takes them to tear them to shreds. If you have declawed cats that don't chew on their toys, these might be a great investment. For mine, it was a waste of money.

My cats Jenny Louise & Frank, who like to bat toys and carry them around, had a field day with these balls, which actually lasted a remarkably long time, considering how fragile they are. Then one of my "kickers" got hold of it---you know, the cats who grab things with their front paws & kick them to death with their back paws. Although the ball is too small for quite that activity, the destruction instinct still took over. Sarah Jane proudly reduced each ball to a pile of straw in 10 minutes flat. But heck---for 4 bucks (and free shipping since I was ordering other things), the pleasure they all got from these balls was worth it!

Our cat loved this ball, but like the other reviewer said, it definitely doesn't last long. It lasted for about 4 days, but she absolutely loved chewing on it and tossing it around. I love the Kong products!

Cats all loved them. One was destroyed in less than 2 days. The other has been smacked around for the last 2 weeks. Cats pick them up and run with them in their mouthes....which is kind of funny and amusing. They are made of straw type material. Not going to last very long. Better these get torn up then my furniture or unattended items.
