JW Pet Company Activitoys Hall of Mirrors Bird Toy

JW Pet Company Activitoys Hall of Mirrors Bird ToyMy parakeet has always loved running around in front of my full length mirror so I figured I'd get him his own for his cage. I put this in his cage and he was only scared of it for about 10 seconds before realizing what it was. As soon as he discovered it he was basically glued to it. I left it in his cage for about a week, but realized that ever since it had been in there he was biting me more every time I tried to handle him and being a lot less affectionate towards me since his "new friend" came. I've taken it out of the cage and only plan on putting it back in if I go out of town or are away for any reason. He does love it though so the four stars are for him not me.

Our parakeet toys come and go, but this mirror has been a constant for our guys for several years. The guys love this mirror and spend lots of time looking at themselves in it. When one of our birds died, Jazz sought company and solace from this mirror. He how has a new cagemate and both of them like this mirror quite a bit.

If you catch your bird in just the right position, this mirror can provide some great photo ops of bird and reflected bird.

The mirrors are good quality and look great. Mine came with a chip in the corner, but not dangerous or anything.

Unfortunately, my birds do not care for the mirrors. They just look for a second and walk away.

Oh well, at least they still sing to me.

Our bird loves this. He had lost his aviary buddy so he was feeling lonely and this mirror has really brightened his days. He sits and sings to it and chatters away. Nice glass mirrors, and having the smaller two angled gives the illusion that the "other" bird is moving around.

The Edge Frame is mirrored and it has more depth to it than I thought. My Parakeets tend to stay away from it, I wonder if it's because it sticks out so far. Overall it seems to be well made, pretty typical plastic toy for Parakeets.
