I read through the reviews for at least 10 different cat trees before I picked the one with only a single (albeit great) review. I have to admit, I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality of my purchase. The tree was shipped and arrived quickly with no damage or missing parts. It took about ten minutes to assemble once I had everything laid out on the floor. It's not the sturdiest tree ever, but I turned it so that the top platform fits in the corner and it doesn't wobble as the cats climb on it. The hole in the second level is large enough for even a ginormously fat cat to fit in (not my fault, I'm fostering him while his active duty military family is overseas!). The carpet on the platform is a nice goldy-beige color and soft; the support columns are all well wrapped and scratchable. I have no expectations for the dangling mouse to last more than week, but that's easily replaceable. All in all, I'm quite happy with this mostly-sturdy tree.

My cats (4) love their cat tree. I placed it in front of a window. It is sturdy and stays in place even when my 10 pound cat jumps off of it. Easy to put together. Who could ask for more?

This is a very nice piece of furniture for my cats. I have a couple of males that are over 20 lbs. and they both can fit through the hole into the cubby space. I have had this almost one week and despite my kittens' attempts, the mouse is still attached. The piece was easy to assemble, I think it took me maybe 15 minutes from the time I opened the box to completion and all pieces/screws etc. were present. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the cost of shipping was almost the same as the cost of the cat tree.

This item was reasonably priced compared to other comparable items. It is easy to assemble and clean. On the downside, it has not stood up up to constant scratching as the material is already torn and rope around posts has become detached. Because it is lightweight, not recommended for cats who are over 13 pounds as they can tip over when they jump on it.

For the price you can't beat this. Very easy to put together with easy instructions. It is solid but not real heavy. Could be better balanced. I have a small cat and once when he jumped off the top it tipped over. I put a 10 lb. weight on the base and its fine.
