Petmate Light Chaser Cat Toy

I bought one of these at Petco a couple months back, but had to return it because it simply didn't work. I don't know if it was the batteries or not, I couldn't find replacement batteries around here. Then last week I was at Petsmart buying new collars, and they had this Booda Light Chaser for $3 less than Petco. I decided to try it again, and this time it worked. Unfortunately, my cats really don't care about the light. It really is just a small, red flashlight, and my cats never chased flashlights. I am very disappointed with it. Hopefully my dad's cats and/or dog will be entertained by it. If your cat(s) are easily entertained and will chase a flashlight light, then they might like this one. But if your cat(s) prefer more realistic toys, then this is not the toy for you.

I think this toy would've been more effective if it was made with a laser instead of an LED bulb, but it was amusing anyway.

These are wonderful. Cats love to chase lasers. Only problem is, that my cats fur is so long, that it covers up the laser lol.

I didn't have any of the battery problems reported by other Amazon users, and my cat surprisingly tolerated the collar. But other than sort of looking at the light and following it around for a few minutes, she then calmly sat and ignored it. So much for the cat chaser.

I love Booda products and I was delighted to see an LED light chaser instead of the dangerous lasers. Unfortunately, the cats won't chase it. The construction isn't too great, either. Great idea, it just won't work.
