My cat loves this! We needed to get her off of sleeping on our bed and this did it! I turned the bolster around so that it is on the side of the room intead of the window, she likes that better. Easy to sweep the hair off of and throw in the wash! Make sure the legs click in or they won't hold any weight. It looks nice in the room too.

This is worth the $. Nicely made and sturdy. Easy to put on sill if you have wide enough sill (10 min.) and can be put on thinner sill with little adjustment. Washable cover. Comfy for even large kitty.

I just put the Deluxe Window Cat Seat together and it has about worn me out. It's easy, really. You "snap" the supports on the bottom of the seat and put it in the window. No problem. But the supports would not just 'snap' into place. They required me to take off the micro-fiber cushion, turn the thing over, and bang it has hard as I could SEVERAL times on the counter before they would even think about "snapping" into place. How many times did I turn the thing over only to have the supports fall right off? I don't know, but now the dang cat is so scared of the thing from all the noise and banging and cursing that he's traumatized to the point where I honestly don't see him wanting to use it. But other than that, now that everything is snapped together, it's nice-looking and well-built. Just make sure you "snap" those braces on with all the force you can muster.

I purchased this item from Amazon after reviewing it on several sites. The perch is too unsteady if attached by the velcrose strip method. I attached it to the window sill by the three wood screws that were included wit the kit. It is a superb product and my two cats love it. They are 10 lbs each but only one cat sits on the perch at a time. For anyone looking for a window perch this is a good investment. Amazon sold it cheaper than any other site.
