I had to buy a replacement of this toy for my cat because he wore out his original one. He loves it! It is cheap, made from natural materials, and makes a great swishing sound when you drag it over the floor or flap it around in the air. My only complaint is that the string becomes easily detached from the stick and it can be difficult to thread back through.

All three cats love this. We have group chase. The string did come loose from the stick wand after a few good bats, but re-threaded it, tied it tighter and all is well. Nice price for such a fun toy. I may just have to get an additional one so they are all happy.

My cats (3) love this toy so much I'm ordering another one because they all want to play with it and I have to take turns with it. I don't know what it is about this one that they like so much but they bat it around, attack it and drag it around. Finally, a toy they enjoy.

I absolutely adore my cats and would pretty much do about anything to keep them entertained (yes, I am a crazy cat lady at heart), and I was so happy to see my cats go absolutely crazy for this toy! I think it is the material that they lovedas soon as they heard the mouse scratch against the carpet, even my fat kitty was wobbling about trying to get a hold of this new toy! However, the other reviewers who say this toy falls apart are absolutely CORRECT! I thought I would be able to make this toy last because my cats aren't very rough, but one good tug from my kitten, and the string fell right out of the stick! I also had to thread the string back in the stick within about 15 MINUTES of opening the toy, just to have it break again in a couple days, and it could no longer be repaired.

Even though I love the materials, I would NOT recommend this product because it is not worth the price. Instead, what I recommend is go to Michaels, and spend the $1.52 it will cost to purchase a little rope, a stick, and any type of rough, safe object you can tie at the end, and make this toy yourself. That's what I will be doing next weekend!

Both my cats love this toy, won't get tired playing with it, however, the string is thin and light, easily wrapped around my cat's tail while he was chasing it in a circle, he was scared and ran around the house like crazy with this thing hanging on his tail, the stick spinned while he was running, causing the string wrapping tighter and tighter, finally he hid under the bed, took me a long time to untangled it. It's very dangerous if the stick gets caught in something while the cat is running so fast with the string wrapping on his tail and won't come loose. This happened to both of my cats, will not let them play with it again.
