EliteField Cat Tree EFCT-3045, 18"L x 18"W x 45"H

This is an amazing product! It is very well constructed & solid! It took me all of 14 minutes to assemble, even while my cat was climbing on it! Like the description says, this is a FAUX FUR cat bed / scratcher. There is no carpet. The material used in it's construction is substantial, NOT flimsy 1/8" cheap masonite! My cats love it! One lies in the bed while the other sleeps inside the house. On a scale of 1 to 10 on the "Bang For Your Buck" scale, this product rates an 11 for me! A blindfolded monkey can assemble this with ease, it's so simple. I just wish Elitefield made the larger cat condos. I would definitely get one after seeing the quality of this piece!

I searched Amazon and pet stores for an affordable mid-sized cat tree. I finally bought the Elite Field Cat Tree. The size seemed big at first but I think it fits our kitten well. I wanted something with a dangling toy, a perch and an enclosure. This has it all and 5 scratching posts. The kitten absolutely loves it. I do too. She plays, sleeps and scratches on it instead of my sofa. The price and quality are great. I paid around $69 with shipping and that is well below any of the other cat trees I saw in the pet stores and they were also much smaller.

Arrived well packed and with all parts. Item well made and parts fit together easily. The soft fake fur covering was nice. My cat went to the bottom scratching post first thing and begain scratching, which my furniture will be happy to note. I then sat him on the top perch and he did not get down!Really pleased with this item and highly reccomend.

Pros: -the scratching post parts are solid and don't seem likely to fall apart

-nice, heavy base. Stands firm with cats pushing and climbing on it

-attractive looking and doesn't take up much space

Cons: -The house area is much too small for either of my two average sized cats to fit comfortably.

-the roof of the house area is very flimsy, causing the top platform to be very wobbly, can't be used.

Bottom line, even though I like a lot about this piece, I was forced to return it. My cats had both tried to climb up to play with the hanging mouse toy, or to curl up in the house area, but because of those two problems, they'd completely lost interest in the entire piece. They won't scratch on it at all, still preferring my new couch, so my desperate hunt for the right cat tree continues. :)

my cat loves it and it was very easy to put together. she enjoys sleeping in house area and on top of it.
