We've been using the double wide scratchers for years now; however, this newest shipment had scratchers in it that were sub-par compared to previous scratchers. It seems that the company now simply took two regular width scratchers and glued them together. This was not the case before; there was no obvious seam in the scratcher. My cats, though, seem to like it just the same.
Works like every other scratcher I've bought along with cat nip. It is larger than most and the cats love it.

I first tried this product several months ago after trying a few other scratch type devices that my cat would have nothing to do with no matter how much catnip was on them. I had nearly given up when I saw this product and thought well here we go again I'll try it. Much to my amazement my cat jump right on it and started using it within minutes.she absolutely loves this scratcher. Everyday she lives near it or on it and uses it every day. I have a very large ragdoll cat so the size is great for her. It last several weeks but it's reversible so I can get the other side use out of it for another several weeks. For the price it's worth 5 stars but I only gave it 4 because it does shred a lot. I guess that is par for the course with 1 of these but it sure would be nice if they could find something our cats would love that didn't leave a paper trail. Lol
