Classic Products Sisal Scratching Post with Interactive Mice

My cat really likes the sisal, mice, and dangling ball, but he's a Maine Coon, and every time he tries to scratch the post, he topples it over. It's a pity; this would be a great product if it had a larger, heavier base so that it would stay upright.

When we brought this home, it was the first time our cat had ever seen a scratch post, and she DOVE on it. She became instant destructo-kitty, and kill-kill-kills the mice over and over with every possible kitty weapon! I have to say, she was able to annihilate the thing within several months (no twine left on it), but this was after very heavy and happy kitty use. Our cat loves that the mice wiggle and rattle (quietly, not frighteningly) when she attacks them, and the ball on top makes her crazy if she bats at it and it swings back at her. A very good buy...getting our first replacement today!
