My little kitties love to jump, chase and 'kill' this birdie. I had an overweight cat that was very lazy no longer. She has lost weight and bugs me all day to keep the birdie moving. She will play as long as I will. Since she usually only slept and ate, she has had the fat falling off of her. This toy will end up extending her life.

I think newly purchased feathers are much shorter and narrower than I used to get; therefore, the toy does not fly well in the air and does not spin much. My cat likes hovering feather with spinning sound, but Da Bird refill cannot excite her any more. They are easy to break and I am disappointed. I prefer paying a few more dollars to get bigger, sturdier feathers so my cat can have fun with them.

In fact I have to keep it hidden in an upper cupboard because otherwise they'll find it -I've had it in the medicine cabinet, the top shelf of the pantry, inside a 6' tall vertical tube on some exercise equipment -they will go to great lengths to find this toy. You MUST order some extra "birds" to replace the original one! They love to bite it and will often try and march off with their prize once they catch it. Both of my cats LOVE this toy, it's far and away their favorite toy. You will get tired of it before they will!

I had the original teaser end for my Da Bird toy for at least 3 or 4 months before it kicked the bucket. It was used daily for rigorous play session and it was quite durable. Thick and stiff feathers stood up to my very rough and tumble cat who flips 2-3ft off the ground to catch the toy.

I got this in the mail and within 3 uses the first feather teaser was completely destroyed. The feathers were very light weight and flexible and my cat really just ripped them to shreds and broke them in half. This is our absolute favorite interactive kitty toy and i'm sad these died so quickly.

I'm quite disappointed in the quality of these. DEFINITELY not worth the price for 3 uses for each teaser end.
