Petlinks Mousey Cut-ups Cardboard Cat Toys

I received a couple of these cardboard cat toys over the holiday season. I had to laugh a little at the concept of assembling my own cat toys.

The user is given two shapes and a piece of twine to form a mouse toy. My cats enjoy playing with them. They are light to bat around and they enjoy carrying them about. I usually roll the toys in a bit of catnip to get my cats initially interested in the toys.

I like that the cardboard is recyclable once the cats tire of the toys and/or begin to tear them a part. Each container has pieces to make two cardboard toys.

The toys were designed in the United States but made in China.

This is simply precut cardboard cut-outs and some twine that slide together to form a mouse shaped cat toy. I found that my cats were able to slide them apart too easily so I just used some Elmer's Glue on the joint. Some cats really like the smell & feel of cardboard so these simple toys may be just what your cat will love. Either way they're only $2.50!

My Cats love them. Very light and fun to play with! So simple to put together, even though they are cardboard they do not break or fall apart easily. Great fun!
