KONG Naturals Crinkle Ball with Feathers Cat Toy, Colors Vary, 2-Pack

KONG Naturals Crinkle Ball with Feathers Cat Toy, Colors Vary, 2-PackThis has been the most used toy by our Maine Coon cats and kitten. The largest cat loves to play fetch with his "bird". Great exercise for the pet and the pet owner. We have bought several and they have not grown tired of playing with them. Highly recommend for active cats who just want to have fun.

My cat really enjoys playing with this toy. The only downside is that the feathers come loose easily.

These are excellent toys that your cat will love. I purchased these feather toys about a month ago, and my cat is still not bored of them! I think that sometimes he thinks he is hunting real birds. The only negative is that my cat can get very excited and fling the toys up in the air and attempt to "kill" his prey. This leads to him pulling out some of the feathers and leaving them around the house. So, if your cat is as hyper as mine, then you might have to pick up the stray feathers every now and then. It's a small price to pay for hours of entertainment though!

So Coco got this toy and immediately went bonkers over it and proceeded to destroy both in less an hour and a half.

Cat Kong Crinkle Ball with Feathers / B0018MXX3K

I think I must have picky cats they fuss a lot for attention, like they are bored, but whenever they get a new toy, they play with it obsessively for the first ten minutes and then never touch it again. It's frustrating, but I thought that maybe the quality of the toys were the problem, and I tossed down for several nice Kong toys, remember how much the puppy had liked them.

Well, the crinkle balls were probably the most well received. I don't know if it's just the feather, or if Kong douses everything in catnip before packaging, but they were both VERY interested in the crinkle balls when they came out of the package. The balls have enough weight to throw nicely (not that they 'fetch', but they do 'chase'...sometimes...if they're in a good mood), and the feathers are actually still attached, which has to be some kind of record for feathered toys at our house. It's not unusual for the cats to initiate play with these toys (they like to pin it with their paws, throw the ball up, and run after it), so I'm pretty pleased.
