After thoroughly researching all of the various slow feeders on amazon, I ordered this one based on the description that it was "...best for large breeds like Golden Retrievers, German Shepherds, Dobermans and Beagles etc." Unfortunately, the description as regards to large dogs didn't prove to be accurate. The bowl was much too small for our lab and forced her to slurp up her food causing lots of tummy problems. There was no doubt the bowl was creating a problem because she's never burped before or since. In all other respects, this a nice, heavy weight, quality bowl---and if you have a medium size dog, I can definitely recommend it. If you have a large size dog (and I would never count Beagles in that category), buy something else or wait until the vender makes a jumbo size bowl. I would buy a jumbo size bowl in a heartbeat if they become available!Save 31% Off
