When I lived in Chicago, I could buy better ones than these (by the same company) for $4 each. There aren't very many feathers and for this price there should be three like the photo shows. Otherwise, great wand -but the feathers come out quickly so there should be more.

I looked for ostrich feather toys for my cats because I had several that they played with so often that they wore them out. These are very puny feathers compared to the others I had, plus the others had a little tinkling bell that would bring the kitties running whenever they heard it. Finally, although I appreciate that these were made in the US, they are outrageously expensive.

My cat loves these things... the only downside I have found is that he systematically destroys them. He likes to chew on the tape that holds the feathers to the stick. He also enjoys pulling the peices of feather out. This and a couple of his other toys have to be kept out of his reach in cabinets.

At first my cat wasn't at all interested in this toy. It took a few weeks and now she loves it. It has a very long flexible pole and my cat will even drag it out herself and try and get me to play with her with it.
