I have Da Bird and multiple attachments which my cat LOVE, LOVE, LOVES!! I got the Kitty Kopter to use a decoy so that I could end our playtime on a successful note. I was trying to create a more real "hunting" experience for my 10 month old indoor cat. He would chase and pounce and fly for Da Bird on a string toy and then I wanted to give him the illusion of catching his "prey" (plus it give me a chance to put Da Bird on a string away without him interferring). Well the very first time we tried this new tactic he carried off the Kopter all happy and proud of his success and then promptly bit the little bead holding the feathers together into small pieces. I had to hunt for a bit to ensure that he hadn't swallowed one of the fragments of the bead thankfully he hadn't.
Still this toy didn't even last 1 hr. Very disappointing and kinda scary how easily it broke. I wouldn't consider my cat to be a big strong chewer but maybe I'm wrong and he's stronger than I thought. He's 10 months old and ~10 lbs.
I like the concept of this toy and am sad that it didn't last more than one playtime.I bought this specifically for one of my cats that loves to play with da bird. We usually throw the da bird toy down after it has been retired so this was a perfect toy for my 5 kitties. This toy is pretty cool. It gets a lot of air and you can throw it pretty far for them. The feathers do tend to fall off after a while. It doesn't really matter to me because of all the play time they get with it before it falls apart, lol. I love watching my cats play with it by themselves. They throw it up in the air with their mouths and grab it as it's coming down. I love it because they loved it!

My kitten absolutely LOVES this toy! He starts salivating as soon as he sees it! Buy a few though as the only down side is that he tends to lose them easily under the furniture. : )As the previous reviewer mentioned, this is not a refill for the Da Bird wand toy, but is meant for you to throw across the room. My Bengal loves to play fetch with these and will bring them to me to throw for her. The only issue we've had is that she likes to chew off the ends of the feathers, but they still seem to last fairly long before needing to be replaced. I would highly recommend trying this toy if your cat likes to play fetch.MY CATS LOVE THESE THINGS........BUT THEY DO NOT LAST VERY LONG....AFTER A FEW DAYS OF PLAY THE RED BALL FALLS OFF AND MY CAT EATS THE FEATHERS, BUT STILL A FUN TOY....THANK YOU
