Cfa Feather Teaser Balls Cat Toy

Cfa Feather Teaser Balls Cat ToyHave you ever been really excited to buy a toy for your cat only to find that upon opening it and giving it to him or her they just walk right past and find more interest in the packaging or the box it came in? This is literally the ONLY toy that my cat actually gets excited over. She did not put it down for the first twenty minutes (held it in her mouth and was perfectly content smacking it -she loves the sound it makes). Then, I would throw it down the hall and she would retrieve it like a dog plays fetch. These toys are hard to find and when you do find them, they are a little spendy for what you get in terms of quality. But if they are your cat's favorite toy, how can you not spend the money? These do not withstand being stepped on and the feathers get ripped out relatively quickly. My cat doesn't seem to mind that their condition quickly changes from new to ratty and broken in just a few weeks. She still drags around this one that we have had for about 3 years and the rattle doesn't even work anymore. I hope that they never stop selling these toys and I think my cat hopes the same thing!

I don't know why but this is by far my cat's favorite toy and really the only one she will play with on her own. I have been searching for replacement, since my cat keeps losing her current one. So happy to finally find it again! She carries it around by the feathers and carries it all over the house the only problem is you can hear her carrying it and it jingling even in the middle of the night. She actually plays cat's version of fetch with it and gets so excited when we throw it around the house and up/down the stairs for her.

I have a 4 and a half month-old kitten and these are his favorite toys, hands down. The fuzzy outside is thick enough for a cat to sink their teeth into, and the plastic ball inside contains a bell, which is actually quite loud. The plastic doesn't hold up to being stepped on, though, so I try to remember to pick them up after kitten is all played out. The real selling point, though, is the "feather." It's not one of those fake ones you get from an arts and crafts store. The feather "fibers" are attached to a thick string, rather than a plastic shaft, which makes it much harder to snap and pull out. And even after the feathers are gone, there's still the string left!
