Scratching posts are easy to find. But finding one that's bigger than kitten size isn't easy. At least around where I live. This Molly & Friends post is not only sturdy and well made, it's several inches taller than anything I've found locally. When you have a fairly long cat, that's a big plus. All three of our cats are too long to comfortably use the posts carried in our local stores... but this one has proven perfect.
