My cats received these Fur Balls as a gift... and had that gift quickly removed from their presence.

They were eager to play with the fluffy puff balls, but it was obvious that the balls were able to be squished down to an edible size. As the cats played, catching the ball in their mouth, they would try to get a better bite and end up half-swallowing the ball. We quickly fished the ball out of our cat's mouth and packed them back up. Although the cats enjoyed the toys, they are too much of a hazard.

My kitten absolutely loves these fluffy balls. She will pick it up, growl at her sister, and then run off to play and cuddle with it (which is hilarious, since she's the quietest, sweetest kitten ever, it's so out of her personality). I've seen her batting it around and also just sleeping with it. The only problem is that she's taken to sticking them in her water bowl, and then it turns into a soggy mess, with dye all over the floor, her, and in the water. Then I have to take it away, and it doesn't dry out well at all, so I ended up throwing them out one by one.

the fur balls are smaller than pictured. my cats were not real interested in them, my dog was and chewed them all up. i would not purchase again.

I don't know what it is about these balls, but my cats love them! They are quite simple just furry little balls. No catnip, no bells, they do not make crinkle sounds, they're not attached to a string; they're just furry little balls. These balls are a favorite of my 5-year-old cat, who ignores a lot of the other toys we have. She is often found carrying these things around in her mouth and we find them all over the house. There have been many mornings where my husband and I woke up to find these things on our bed, near our pillows, on our chests, under the blanket... we can tell that our cats had a night of fun and were trying their hardest to wake us up so we would join in on the excitement. Despite the heavy use of these, they have had hardly any wear-and-tear. Recommend!
