I bought this toy for my 9 month old kitten (Rowan) when I got him last June. He loved it! It squeaks, it lights up, and it has held up through being attacked, bunny-kicked, and mauled countless times. My sister brought her cat (Anyaa year older than mine) to visit and she was obsessed as well! Anya is typically too lazy to play with anything else, including laser pointers, but for some reason she liked this toy.

Unfortunately, the squeaking sound is terribly annoying, and we have to hide the toy at night so they cats won't play with it while we are sleeping.

I bought this late last week and my cat has already torn the feathers off the poor mouse -I wish I'd known there was another option, sans feathers (see the Twinkle Wild Flingdom). My cat never turns down the chance to play with it...she loves chasing and batting this toy around, especially thanks to the noise it makes. She even carries it around in her mouth after she's "killed" it!

My young cat loves small toys. This little mouse, that lights and squeaks while he plays with it, is one of his favorites. When he gives it a toss, you can see that he waits a moment for the squeak. The lights and squeak are definitely part of the appeal. He is pretty destructive with his toys, but this one has withstood a lot of tooth and claw for more than seven months. I ordered a couple more to hold in reserve for when the battery finally fails.
