Pet Buddies Pooch Ball Toy

This is the 3rd Pooch Ball I've purchased for my dogs in the last 2 years. These toys last quite awhile with constant playing. They tend to get the ball out quite quickly, but you can either re-insert it, or place a real tennis ball inside for a much more difficult challenge.

My sister's dog spends hours trying to get at the tennis ball that goes to the other end every time the dog thinks he figured out how to get it :) It is entertaining for the dog and us!

GREAT DOG TOY! I have a 2-1/2 year old male Golden Retriever (66 lbs) and 1 year old female GoldenDoodle (55 lbs). I purchased the Pooch Ball (large) and they played with it every day so I purchased a second one. The dogs will go to their toy bin and search for the Pooch Ball. This toy keeps them occupied for quite some time as they try to get the tennis ball out and the blue container is also soft and rubbery allowing them to chew. They stick their paws and snout into the blue container trying to get the ball out. They eventually push the ball out and I push the ball back in for more play time. They will grab the toy from one another and run around chasing each other trying to get the toy. I throw the Pooch Ball outside and it bounces around on the ground for them to chase and grab. Well worth the money! Pooch Ball has had over 9 months of play and is still in good shape. I cannot purchase cloth toys as they will be chewed apart in one day and rope toys are chewed apart in a few days. I recommend Pooch Ball based on the cost, the length of time my 2 dogs have been playing with this toy and the condition of the toy after months of playtime.

This Pet Buddies Pooch Ball Toy has been a remarkable addition to our Labrador Retriever's toybox. It is such a favorite with him that about the only time it spends in the toybox is the time it takes him to go get it after we've placed it in the box. With many toys to choose from, this is one of his two favorite toys.

The outer part of the Pooch Ball toy seems extremely durable. The inner ball didn't last more than a day before our lab's jaws had it tore in two (though the ball was protected by the outer container). We replaced the inner ball with a Kong ball that we bought at the feed store and the "improved version" has lasted several months now. I find this toy's design interesting and helpful. It allows our dog to play fetch with himself! He literally bites an end and tosses the toy, then fetches it himself. He does this inside the house and outside. It is comical to watch and a good indicator that Fido wants to play! After months of daily use, there are still no toothmarks on the outer shell though he chews on it regularly. Most favorably, our dog prefers this toy, and hasn't tired of playing with it. To a dog owner, that speaks volumes!

Purchased this toy for our 10 year old Golden Retriever...she loved it...we could place 2 tennis balls in it and it kept her entertained. Unfortunately she took it to the beach, minus the tennis balls and it washed away from her. It was a rough winter day and I swear, she looked like she could cry. We had a hard time getting her to leave the spot she lost it. She had the toy for about 6 months and had no problems with it before losing it to the Atlantic Ocean.
