This ball is not what I expected. It is TINY. My dog has had the larger version of this ball and I wanted to replace it, so I ordered this. I expected it to be the same size, about a baseball, but what came was more like a golf ball. I can see how this size is well suited to birds, but it is certainly not appropriate for any but the tiniest dogs.
I believe the manufacturer made the size of this toy quite clear. So it's a bit difficult to get upset when the dimensions were CLEARLY laid out for you before hand. Meanwhile, my IRN Indian Ringneck and GCC Green-Cheek Conure are LOVING these toys. These balls with bell included are the PERFECT dimensions for birds of this size range. It beats buying packages of plastic cat toys only to have them broken within a few minutes. And when i say a few minutes i mean 15 balls with bells removed like a surgeons knife....!!! LOL Some of course were cracked as well GCC's though small pack quite a punch for there size. Don't let that fool you folks, when it comes to there beak power. I've seen Kiwi many times win "tugs of war" against my IRN Keiko. However, with nearly 25yrs both wild & domestic avian experience i can tell you first hand these balls are PERFECT foot and beak toys. And will keep your feathered pals entertained for hours on end.
