One of my cats loves this toy!!! There's something about the way it twirls around as it passes through the air. He will follow it through figure 8s and up and down and round and round and round. It seems super simple but I love it. He plays with it so much the hemp twine wore through at the top. But I just took the piece and tied it around again and the rubber cap keeps it on. I may have to replace the twine eventually but I have a backup wand to tide us over. I tried attaching the more colorful Da Bird refill but he doesn't seem to like it as much. I like the all natural approach the company seems to have. I will definitely continue getting the original refills even if I have to replace the twine frequently. 4 stars because the twine breaks but maybe that's the tradeoff for having a more "natural" toy. Tons of fun!

Apparently my husband went to our friends house and noticed the wand was hidden. The cat liked the toy so much that they had to hide it so he wouldn't destroy it. I have a dog (not a cat) but we consider having to hide a toy a success in my house! :)

My cat is addicted to this toy! He'll chase it around for hours, and the rope and feathers are very durable against his attacks. Although I do have to make sure I keep it out of his reach when we are not playing, since he can easily tangle himself up and get hurt.
