My cats both love mouse toys especially those cheap catnip rattling ones you see at the grocery store. That being said, they showed little interest in these until the rest of their mice disappeared under the furniture. Then they played with these for maybe a day and I woke up to stuffing all over the house and the tails apparently were swallowed because they turned up in the litter box. These are not safe for kitties that play rough! I was very disappointed.

As a cat lover, I've had many cats. They all seem to love these catnip burlap mice! Very durable and strong; they do not tear apart easily

My cats loved these mice, but they only lasted about a week. My cats play hard, so for a more calm cat, they would probably be perfect.

Even my lazy cat loves these toys. He really digs his claws into them, and he seems to enjoy the smell, too. They're not super-durable--he bunnykicks the stuffing out of them within a month or 2--but that's a sign of how much he loves them. When he picks a toy for himself (yes, he has a toy bin), it's inevitably one of these mice.

Another bonus: they're not fur. Sure, cats may be obligate carnivores, but I can't think of a good reason why their toys need to be made of fur from raccoon dogs. Plus, my cat seems to prefer the feel of burlap. I suspect other mice are made of fur in order to please the humans, not the cats...
