My Lab has always been an extremely aggressive chewer, to the point where we don't dare get him any plush chew toys any more because they'll be shredded on the first day. We got this for him when he was about 4 months old and he showed no interest in it. He much preferred the Nylabone Dura Chew Wishbone Wolf instead. We have two smaller dogs, 13 and 14 pounds. They both loved to chew on these bones. They would chew for hours--until there was nothing left! Then one day one of them got sick. This is truelly the nylabone you want to buy. Others that are out there to buy for your dog are not the same as this one is. If you have a chewer, this is the bone for you. It looks like plastic but isn't. they can chew and chew and it does not splinter or break apart. We have a 60 pound lab/greyhound mix and she chews everything to shreds.
