My dog absolutely loves this toy. I bought the "knots' toy in a bear shape and he loved it so much I bought Eagle. It is always his first go to toy. The rope filling makes the toy more durable. His bear starting splitting at the seams and I just re-sewed the damaged sections. I have an 8 lb. pom chi who doesn't destroy toys very often.
Although the internal knotted rope lasted the plush body was torn open within a few hours of chewing. Our Puggle does a good job going through toys very quickly so I thought I would give this item a try since its a KONG and they are known for durable products. My suggestion to those who have smaller dogs that like chewing is to not waste your money on this item. Just go buy a cheap knotted rope from your local pet store.
