KONG Squeezz Dumbbell Dog Toy, Large, Colors Vary

These dumbbells and other products with similar design by Kong are not worth the money. The seams at each end give up under pressure. I know they are not made for chewers but how does a dog make it squeak without squeezing it. Poor design, inferior to most Kong products.

My dog is an 18month old part pit bull , weighs 58 lbs. and she is still at the chewing stage. I have bought several large toys from Amazon, mainly Kong because I think it is a reliable brand. However, I am yet to find a toy which Rosie does not chew to bits within a week. The worrying thing is when she eats the pieces of the toy. The only one she has not destroyed is the Wobbler.

I bought this for my black lab mix puppy who is a nervous chewer. She has reduced quite a number of toys to debris in weeks if not days. The squeaker died after a couple of months but I wasn't heartbroken about that. However, the body of the toy only gave up the ghost this week. It lasted five months with nearly daily use. Granted she wasn't left to chew on it all day.

I liked the dumbbell shape because you can put a forward spin on it and it will travel twice as far as its thrown distance.

This Kong dog toy is advertised for large breeds but its squeaker broke in less than 10 minutes of dog playtime (50lb lab puppy). Even though I like the jel material because it survived the first day, the dog isn't interested in the toy anymore without the squeakers. Thiis the third Kong squeezz toy(and last) that I have purchased and all of Kong's squeakers stopped functioning within 5-10 mins of playtime which is unacceptable. Obviously, Kong has a problem with squeaker design which makes this product worthless for the cost.

My dog is in LOVE with this! We've had it for about a week now, and it's held up so much better than the ring one (which she destroyed within the first 20 minutes). It's so funny how enthusiastic Roxie is about this, she's just nuts about it. It's been thrown into the pool a few times on accident and made it out alive, and the squeaker is still intact. So far, no teeth marks visibleeven though she bites down so hard and tugs with this I don't honestly see how she doesn't just rip a huge hole in it, but the material is shockingly tough. It's a darn shame not many other non-Kong toys can't hold up this well.
