Though my puppy did like the toy it is nowhere near 8x8x2 it's at least half that size. I was looking for a nice toy to leave in my puppy's crate while he's teething sadly he cannot have it when I'm not around since I'm afraid that he may swallow it whole. The only reason I'm not returning it is because he does like it it's just way to small for my corgi (and he's only 15lbs) so maybe if you have a very small puppy this would work otherwise don't waste your time.

You definately get what you pay for with this one. My dog did play with it, but I had to throw it out in less than a week!! The seams split and the colow printed on the outside started to come off. I did not know I purchased a choking hazard for my dog. The petstages Orka minis are way better chew toys and extremely durable.

Shipping cost more than the lil toy, but it was worth it! My Teacup Yorkie knew he had a gift in the package...as soon as we got it all opened...he wouldn't let it go! I haven't tried freezing it yet, but will today!

My last Maltese had this when she was teething and loved it. I find that if you wring it out pretty well before freezing it, it doesn't make a mess as it melts later on. She liked chewing it frozen or not, though. When she was out of her teething phase, we used it for fetch. It's really lightweight. She was about 6 or 7 lbs full grown, so it was a perfect size for her little mouth to grab. It would get a little dirty and gross, but it's super easy to wash. My newest Maltese is 8 weeks and I just ordered this for her (since I have no idea what happened to the last one).

This was the perfect size for my 3 pound Chihuahua. It said I could throw it in the freezer so it would be chilled and help with teething. After spending 8 hours in the freezer, it was barely even cool! However my dog did have a blast with it, since there aren't an array of toys this size, it was perfect for her little mouth to throw around for a while. I noticed only after a couple hours play that she had already poked holes in the fabric, and this was coming from a half toothless dog! I would never buy this again, even for $1 (unfortunately I bought it when it was not on sale!) Trust the other reviewers and myself, stay away from this crappy product.
