4in1 Dog Training Shock and Vibration Collar

I bought this collar because most reviews were good for this product and You can't beat the price. Loved that it takes triple A batteries and a 9 volt, has an on and off switch, vibrates, shocks, and beeps. I have an 8 month old boxer who is having a problem jumping up on people, he comes to work with me, so he's around the public and I just can't have it happening. first day I put it on the dog and he really responds to the beeps, ended up using the vibration which annoys the dog more that anything, but causes him to stop his behavior. One day he was very uncontrollable I used the shock feature and he did nothing. It didn't even catch his attention. The collar was on tight enough, the power was on and he didn't even look up from his bad behavior. It's not worth the money, if you're looking to buy a collar plan on spending about 100 dollars on one that has adjustable shock levels. As a shock collar this fails, but like I said the vibration annoys him enough for me to keep it.

real good for the price in comparison to other e collars. The battery in our collar dies usually in a week or less even if it's not being used. There is no way to switch it off, so the collar is on all the time unless you take the battery out. I wish there was a way to charge it at night. Thankfully there is a red light and when you can no longer see it then you know the battery is dead. We use to whistle to get both of our dogs attention, the vibrate as a warning, and the shock when the one dog is getting overly aggressive after the warning. My husband and I tried it on ourselves first to be sure what we were putting our dogs through. The initial shock hurt and had a lingering effect but after that it was no big deal and when the one dog that wears it is in high prey mode she will ignore it at first. We thinking about getting another one for our year old oh so excited galumpasaurus lab.

collar is too short for a "large dog" as advertised.

have a 110lb bitch for which the collar was considerably too short. the seller, Cyber Center, argued against full refund and for 10% restocking fee, which eventually did give but would not reimburse for my shipping expense of the product back.

the product description "Suitable for small, medium and large dogs" is not true. Shame on the seller, Cyber Center. Amazon, the description of this product should be removed.

had collar for about a week. put on right away and worked as supposed to. today my dog was acting really strange. i thought maybe he was getting sick. he wouldnt come when called, just layed around like he was exhausted. i took the collar off and while holding it in my hand IT SHOCKED ME!! i hooked a bulb up to it and sure enough every 7-10 minutes, it let off a shock. im pissed that it could malfunction like that. to think of what Courage, my dog went through ALL DAY pains me. i have experience with training collars but never went with a cheaper one. i will never again go cheap on an item like this. my recommendation is, if you like your dog DO NOT BUT THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!! my dog will probably take a while to recover from this traumatic experience.

When I first bought the collar it was great. It helped with training my cockapoo not to jump on people and come when called. We don't use it everyday, only when he is misbehaving. However, the transmitter has now broken after 2 1/2 months. It will not transmit any signal to the collar. I am waiting a reply from the seller.
