My dog loved this squeaky toy he's had it for months on end. It's nearly indestructible. They pulled off the funky patch thing right away but the teddy has stayed intact. I'm ordering him another one because his has gotten ratty dirty and the squeaker has gotten punctured. But it held up WAY longer than any other toy I've gotten Basil. He's rough on toys.

My adopted dog never played with the toys I bought until a friend brought a West Paw teddy toy. The minute she heard the squeak, that was it! She eviscerated the first one and is working her way through the next 3. She goes nuts when we play and if I want her to come to me, all I have to do is squeak it and she comes running.

The fact that these toys are made in the USA is a big plus.

While searching for dog toys that are "Made in the USA" I came across the West Paw Brand on-line (can't find any local stores that stock products that are "Made in the USA"). I was originally looking for the snake thinking that maybe my yellow lab wouldn't destroy it too quickly but couldn't get the snake in time for Christmas so I ordered 2 of these Teddy Squeak Toys. I figured that by ordering 2 it would last for a little while and then I could get the snake. When they arrived, we gave our Daisy one of the teddy's for Christmas and put one away for when we needed it. I'm thrilled to say that it has been almost a year now and we still haven't had to get out the spare teddy! This is a GREAT product that is apparently made well and hasn't pulled apart while my 3 year old lab plays with it. We call it her "baby" and she takes care of it well. Now I'll get her the snake this year and see how well that holds up!
