Savvy Tabby Knit Mice, Fur Mice & ball 12 PkMy two kittens are quite opposite in personality. One loves only things that actively move like a laser pointer or wand, the other prefers playing by himself with things such as the turbo track. This pack is one of the only things both will play with. I put out one of each type of toy and they have all held up to excessive chewing, clawing, and batting. The plastic balls are very durable and hard to crush, even for my kitten who can chew through cardboard. The mice have all had their tails cut off by me because they are quite long and my kitten has taken to chewing them offhe finds them the most appealing because of its length. The small mice and the non-plastic balls both are filled with some kind of bean that makes sounds when shaken. This attracts both kitties and it's more likely your cat will play with them after you shake it.

I do suggest cutting the tails off (or shorter) on the micemy kittens have already ingested two tails and there may be health effects from it. Another thing to consider would be the colorationthese items may get into their water and change its color, making the water unattractive to some cats. My bigger mice are currently getting a bit frayed due to the clawing, but they are holding up quite nicely after a month.

These toys are pretty well made, they've survived now for a few months without any issues. The mice and soft balls have been through the wash and been in the dryer a few times and come out fine. I especially like the "knit" type mice. A bit bigger than the usual mouse toy, so it's perfect for our Maine Coon. I stepped on one of the lattice balls, and it broke. Which is to be expected! But on the good side, the ball didn't break into any sharp pieces and just kind of crushed into itself instead of shattering and sending plastic bits everywhere. Although impossible to predict whether a cat will like a given toy, mine like these.
