I ordered this because the image appeared to be the same one I purchased in the stores in previous years. That item was fantastic, noise maker lasted over a year, perfect length. This item hangs about 2 feet from the ground (my other cat is older and likes to lay down below batting things, definitely won't work for her), when I first opened it the noise maker stuck on and I had to tap it to stop on repeated occasions, and now a few hours later the noise stopped. If this is the same company who made the earlier product I'm very disappointed, you've downgraded quality on something that I'm sure was already inexpensive enough to make in the first place.

My Cat enjoyed playing with it, the mouse makes a squeaking noise that she enjoyed, but she kept breaking the mouse off the string. We kept tying knots in the string until it was too high for her to reach and now she'll occasionally bat it around on the floor.

My Bengal cat who weighs 15 lbs grabs the mouse and plays tug of war with it. He ripped the cord within the first five minutes. I've retied it 7 times. Its so high off the ground now that he has lost interest. Its a great idea that would be better made with a stronger cord.

You know I bought my first one of these through a store. then my store stopped selling them so I found them on this site. This item allows my cats to play by them selves. it even allows me to shut my door with it on there. my cats get excercise and entertainment.

My cat LOVES this toy. She will play with it for HOURS until she finally passes out from exhaustion. The problem is it only lasts about 2 days. The flimsy plastic pole it hangs from is no match for my 12 pound kitty. I've had to buy this toy multiple times because my cat keeps snapping the plastic hanger in half. But I do keep buying it...because she really LOVES this toy.
