Ethical Pet Mouse Chase Electronic Cat Toy (colors may vary)

Ethical Pet Mouse Chase Electronic Cat ToyThis is the best cat toy ever. I volunteer at a no-kill cat shelter and the cats never get tired of playing with this toy. They literally fight over who gets to play with it. They get so fascinated by the fact that they have to bat it just the right way to get the 'mouse' going again. Most other toys they get tired of after a few minutes, but not this one. It's sturdy, too.

This is a very nicely made toy. It has durable pieces and works well. It is a quality product. However, my cat doesn't like it. The mouse moves too fast in circles, and I don't think my cat knows what to do with it. This would be an excellent toy if the company made the mouse move a lot slower, like a real mouse walking in a circle, and stopping for a minute. It's really a nice toy, but the mouse is just too fast.

This is awesome and both of my 8 month old kitties approve. The cat scratcher on top is virtually worthless, cause both of my cats easily move this across toy across the room when it is one trying to 'get the mousey'. The sensor seems very responsive and the mouse darts beautifully in the track. It seems to moves at a semi-fast pace. The cats can easily catch the mouse. My one complaint about this item is that I wish it was bigger. If my cats were small kittens, this would be a perfect size. I feel bad watching my cats try to stuff their near grown paws into the small slots and worry about them getting stuck. Although, neither one of them seem bothered by the size. Awesome cat toy!

You will get such a kick watching your cat! My little girl cat sticks her paw in to catch the mouse and is sooo intrigued. It's adorable.

I popped the C batteries into this toy and showed it to my 10-week old kitten. He stared at it for awhile. The mouse flies around the circle so fast that it is just a gray blur, which I think was overwhelming to my kitten. He began to hiss at it and then swatted at the plastic part as if to say, "That's enough, I don't like you!" Thus I will be donating the toy to an animal shelter or Goodwill. The 20% restocking fee to "A World of Pups" seems silly and not worth the hassle of trying to return it.
