Animal Planet PET20107 Hammerhead Shark Dog Costume

The body of this costume fits my dog just fine, but the hammerhead "hat" slips all over the place. My dog's head is no smaller than the pug's in the picture, but as soon as he moves it starts slipping. Perhaps a better design would attach the hammerhead to the neck of the shark body to prevent side-to-side slippage. On the plus side, my dog still looks adorable even without the "hat".

I'm one of those people that torture my cat with costumes. He's been a leprechaun, cat skelington, a bandito, and among others, old cat Kringle on Christmas so I have an idea of what size costume to get him. But with shark week coming, he needs to be a shark but this costume came in too big.

If you know what size to get your cat, get this one a size smaller.

We bought the large size for our 45 pound mutt. We followed the instructions to let her ears have holes in the headpiece, but the hat constantly fell off. We did manage to get a few pics in before we gave up on the costume. Lesson: dogs shouldn't wear costumes. Well, maybe for just a few minutes...

I got it for a 25 lbs pug and it fit well, but it was a blue shark and not a grey hammerhead shark. I would put a picture here if I was allowed.
