Great Carrier! I have researched kitty carriers for airplane cabin travel for months! I finally found this one. I assembled it when it arrived by putting two slim flexible rods into place, along with the two floor pieces : one for sturdiness, one for a soft mattress. I found the right carrier. Finally. Now I feel comfortable booking that flight.

The two rods that have to go inside this carrier are quite hard to get them in the end loop once you thread the rods through. Took quite a few tries (I am a woman) to get this flexible rod to bend without much struggle. The plastic that is over each wire when bending them actually broke pieces off (wires stayed in tact of course). I ended up putting duck tape around the rods. Just for the safety issue of my cats not getting stuck or eating more shavings off the rods. The white plastic just splinters off when bent. Other than that my cat is 13 pounds (bought the large) and he fits great in it. He enjoys going in it.

I have a rat terrier that fit perfectly! We flew on usairways & had no trouble fitting under seat. My dog loves the door on top that he can pop his head out.

We love this carrier for our soon to be very large kitty (a Maine Coon). It is comfortable inside for him and we line the soft inside with a puppy pad just in case so it would be easier to clean but so far we have had no issues. It looks great and is very easy to use and carry. The assembly was also very quick and simple. Also the loops for the seat belt were very easy to use and held our kitty safely. We have been loving it so far!
