The success of these toys depends on the cat. I had one cat who went crazy for them, have one cat who likes to play with them just as much as any toy, and have another who couldn't care less about them. This is a good deal for 12 mice though, and there are different textures so you can figure out which your cat likes best. My cat liked all of them and would destroy them, so it was nice to have backups.

One of the toys fell apart after only two weeks. They are poorly made and are shoddily held together with glue. When I opened the package the eye of one of the mice had already fallen off, another one had a big clump of dried glue on the outside, and then after two weeks the green one fell apart spilling out its inside (catnip cardboard stuffing??).

So far, these are the favorite mice in our five-cat household. "The Boys" (20-month old sleek and shiny black DSH kittens) will play fetch for thirty minutes at a time: we hurl said mouse as far as possible, preferably ricocheting off the walls on its way down the stairs, Mojo and Teaz'ka play "Skater Dudes" and mimic the best moves of Tony Hawk while barreling after the mouse. Then, the kitty trots back to us, mouse in mouth, to be dropped at our feet (or close enough). Lather, rinse, repeat, two or three times per day.
