Our cat received an Eek mouse for Xmas from a friend. He loves it, even though he ignores his other catnip toys. Unfortunately, our elderly toothless poodle also loves this toy, even though he has many others, and so there have been some squabbles over who gets to play. Thus, we are buying more eek mouses to keep peace in the family.

Purchased 2 of these about 5 years ago for my indoor mouser cat. She loves to hunt (and has caught a couple of real mice). This is by far her favorite toy. In fact, besides her fabric string from an old piece of clothing of mine, this is the only toy she likes. The 2 have been looking shabby for a couple years. I've sewed them back together a couple times because she does treat it like a real mouse! "breaks the neck" and all! I can't imagine they have retained the catnip scent all this time but it obviously isn't the only attraction. They are full of teeth marks but hold up remarkably well, regardless. I've been looking for more for a few years but didn't know the name. At last, I have figured it out. She is going to be so excited. I throw them up in the air, she swipes/grabs it with her paw and proceeds to annihilate. Hard to tell which cats will like this but mine sure does.

The cats loved these toys for many weeks until the dogs ate most of them! But if you have no dogs, they'll last a long time.
