I have a Standard Schnauzer (the ones that run about 40 pounds) and these are the only plush type toys that last any time at all, he shreds stuffed toys in minutes. The first time I took him to the local pet store as a young pup I got distracted for about three seconds and he snagged a Skinneeez raccoon from the rack. I was sad to see he had managed to rip it right off its tag that was still hanging there and even more so when I saw they weren't cheap (an evaluation I've changed my mind about now), but I did the "right thing" and bought it. Well that became his favorite toy in the world! He's almost two now and we're on about our third coon, but he still walks around the house with the thing in his mouth half the time. These have become the indispensible toy at my house. Your dog may like them too, but they aren't perfect. They come with a squeaker in both the head and tip of the tail. These are junk, my dog "kills" them the first day. The toy would be better without them in my opinion, but if your dog 'needs' a squeaker and has a pretty good bite, this may be an issue. Once the toy starts to rip I try to get these things out so he doesn't try to eat them.
