My cat adores this toy! He gets needed exercise, chasing it along the floor and we spend hours each week interacting with it. My only problem is the feathers don't stay attached. I've re-attached them with SuperGlue, but it's probably my big cat's (15 pounds)fault as he's pretty rough on toys.

My kittens loved this toy. In fact, they loved it so much, they destroyed it within a week, leaving me with nothing but a flexible stick with a string tied to the end. This is not a long-term toy. This is a toy that an active kitten will use, consume, and destroy in a matter of days. Do not buy this item unless you want to get on a weekly subscription plan for it.

I have two cats and I keep them indoors because of a neighborhood coyote problem. As such, they don't get enough exercise, in my opinion. It must be a dull life. So, now and then I get them one or another cat toy. The latest is A Spot Feather Dangler made by Ethical Products. I found it at a nearby grocery store. It has an 18-inch wand, about a two-foot-long elastic cord and a small bunch of colored feathers attached to the end. I wave the wand around which makes the feathers jump and twist in a variety of ways and the cats just go wild, especially the smaller, leaner one (Boo). He leaps and jumps and swings his paws wildly through the air. It's funny to watch and you can easily see he's having a good time. The bigger (12 pounds) cat, a long-hair black and white we call "The Fuzz." has a milder reaction, but he'll go after it too, just not quite so vigorously. In any case, both eventually tire of it so I put it up where they can't get it and bring it out again a day or two later. It's a fine toy. The question might be, how long will it last? My guess would be, not long.

My cat is obsessed with this thing. She is a siamese, and really doesn't like many toys (ping pong balls and bottle caps). However, she is OBSESSED with this thing. If she sees you pick it up she will meow and meow until you play with her. She even drags the entire thing around like it's a prize. Definite 5 stars.
