The costume was Oversized and the hatpictured is not what I received... The costume is quite long for a bulldog but also, I had to pin it together with safety pins to keep it on. Perhaps this is intended to fit mini bulldogs.
This costume was for a 80 lb English Bulldog. The neighborhood kids loved it and thought it was very funny. But as for the costume itself, it was low to medium quality and the hat was very poorly designed...no strap or elastic to attach it to a dog's head, absolutely no way to keep it on the dog's head unless they have huge long droopy ears like a Bassett to poke the dog's ears through the very small ear holes in the hat, having the weight of the ears keep it "pinned" to the dog's head. We ended up attaching the hat to her collar, but it didn't sit well and kept rotating off center and ended up under her chin most of the night. The pants were problematic because my dog walked right out of them--they would not stay on her body. The elastic was poor quality, very thin and more like a loose ribbon than elastic--yet the neck on the shirt barely fit--so sizing was not the problem. It was a quality issue. The pants were a separate piece from the shirt and would not attach to the shirt in any way. Gravity and wiggling pulled them off as she walked. They proved to be more hassel than they were worth. Poor design on the pants also meant the animal also could not use the bathroom with them on without a mess. Still--for $25, it was a hoot and I can't complain about the cost or the shipping.

Glad I bought costumes on sale. The quality of the fabric and manufacturing not as expected. I had to alter the costumes so they would stay on my dogs. Not worth the price.

I bought this costume for my 100lb lab (our maltese went as a police officer). I bought the large and it is a bit snug, which I did expect. I was disappointed that the hat did not have an elastic on it. The slits for the ears were not placed so that my dog's ears could slide through.
